Founded in 1963, formoplast specialises in the manufacture of plastic chemical tanks. These many years of experience enable us to build large containers that can be manufactured with single or double walls.
Safe storage of large quantities of water-polluting media in our storage tanks
Thanks to the outstanding material properties of PE-HD and PP as well as modern coiled pipe technology, our storage tanks can be built up to a diameter of 4000 mm, with wall thicknesses of up to 150 mm and heights of over 20 metres. The high chemical resistance of the high-quality plastics used – PE 100, PE 100 RC and PP-H homopolymer – guarantees a long service life.
Which fabrics can be filled?
All media can be stored in our PE100 containers in accordance with the DIBt media list 40-1.1.
Tanks may also be used for the storage of other liquids if it is proven by an expert opinion to be determined by the DIBt that storage is possible.
What is the advantage of double-walled tanks?
Double-walled tanks with a vacuum safety contour do not require a separate drip tray.
Furthermore, VSK containers are approved by the DIBt for installation in areas at risk from earthquakes.
Plastic container construction in accordance with DVS guidelines
All our storage tanks are calculated, designed and tested in accordance with the current DVS guidelines 2205 Part 1 to Part 4. On request, we also manufacture our containers in accordance with the European standard EN 12 573.
