Founded in 1963, formoplast specialised in the manufacture of chemical tanks made of plastic. These many years of experience enable us to construct large tanks that can be manufactured in single-walled or double-walled versions.

Due to the outstanding material properties of PE-HD and PP as well as the modern wound pipe technology, our storage tanks can be built with a diameter of up to 4000 mm, wall thicknesses of up to 150 mm and heights of over 20 metres. The high chemical resistance of the plastics we employ - PE 100, PE 100 RC, PP-H homopolymer – guarantees a long service life.

Construction of plastic tanks according to DVS guidelines

All of our storage tanks are calculated, designed and tested according to the current DVS guideline 2205 parts 1 to 4. On request we also manufacture our tanks according to the European standard EN 12 573.
